Soft Close Drawer Slides
Gus’ heavy duty soft close slides mount underneath the drawer box which allows for more space inside the drawer and the ability to take more weight.
The drawers come standard with our easy to remove release tabs for easy drawer removal and cleaning.
Dovetail Drawer Construction
Gus’ solid wood drawer box comes standard with dovetail construction which not only offer aesthetics but also the most durable construction. The dovetail joint is the strongest and therefore the longest lasting construction method for drawers.
11 Ply (3/4″) Maple Plywood Box Construction
Gus’ standard box construction is ¾” 11 ply maple veneered plywood which is typically an upgrade offered by our competitors. Plywood is more resilient to water than particle board and much greater in strength. The plywood is veneered both inside and out highlighting the beauty and natural characteristics of natural wood.
Heavy Duty Soft Close Hinges
Gus’ uses a heavy duty six way adjustable soft close hinge. It has an integrated stainless steel piston which operates the soft close mechanism, which is the best available on the market today. It also includes an easy release tab to remove the door for effortless cleaning.
Maple Cabinet Doors
Gus’ solid wood doors are made of the highest grade maple. The door is made of five pieces constructing the frame and centre panel. This is the best method to allow for the natural expansion and contraction of the wood without causing damage to the door.
